Join us at The International Conference on Attachment-Based Parenting Interventions

Join us on June 23rd at the University of Pavia, Italy, for the International Conference on Attachment-Based Parenting Interventions. This conference is a unique opportunity to hear leading experts discuss innovative and evidence-based approaches in the field. Suitable for psychologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychiatrists, educators, mental health professionals, researchers, and students, this one-day conference can be attended in-person (limited seats) or on-line. Simultaneous translation will be available in English and Italian. On-line registrants will be able to an easy to access video recording of the full conference in both Italian and English.

Focus of the Conference

How does an attachment approach inform parenting interventions to best “reach” children and adolescents and promote their mental health and wellbeing? How effective are these approaches and how can they be scaled-up to provide sustainable supports for families? What are the key clinical challenges that practitioners experience? To address these questions, this focused one-day conference brings together leading national and international scholars in the field of attachment-based parenting interventions. Our morning sessions focus on interventions designed to support parents of pre-school aged children, while our afternoon sessions will focus on interventions designed to support parents of adolescents.

The conference will also explore the theme of diversity, inviting conversations on cultural and contextual considerations for development and implementation of attachment-based interventions for underserved populations. Each talk will be followed by a brief facilitated discussion with the presenter, allowing opportunities for the audience to engage and raise questions.

Join us for this invaluable opportunity for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and innovation in the field of attachment-based parenting interventions!
